These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you (or the organisation you represent — "you") and InfraWatchKenya, operator of the Tenari platform ("Tenari", "we", "us"). By creating an account, signing in, or using Tenari you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are accepting on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.
Tenari is one platform offering seven plans for property and hospitality businesses:
Across these plans, Tenari provides tenant, owner, guest and caretaker portals, invoicing and payments, M-Pesa (Daraja) reconciliation, WhatsApp/SMS communications, staff and payroll, statutory and tax reporting, and IFRS/USALI-style financial statements.
Future development. Tenari is actively built and expanding across East Africa. We may add, change or remove plans, features, integrations and country markets over time. Unless we state otherwise, these Terms apply to all current and future plans and features of Tenari.
The records you enter — tenants, owners, guests, units, payments and communications — remain yours. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to process your customers' personal data and for how you communicate with them through Tenari, including obtaining any required consent for WhatsApp/SMS notices and honouring opt-outs. We process this data on your behalf as described in the Privacy Policy.
Access to paid plans requires an active subscription at the tier you select. Fees, billing cycle and any free-trial terms are those shown at sign-up or in your billing settings. Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable for the current period. We will give reasonable notice of price changes. Non-payment may lead to suspension of access; your data is retained per the Privacy Policy during any grace period.
You agree not to: use Tenari unlawfully or to store unlawful content; attempt to breach security, access other organisations' data, or bypass the row-level isolation; reverse-engineer, resell or copy the platform except as allowed by law; upload malware; or use the messaging or payment features to defraud or harass. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
We work to keep Tenari available and its figures accurate — every displayed amount is computed from your entered records by a stated rule. Tenari is a tool to help you keep books and run operations; it is not a licensed accountant, tax adviser or legal adviser, and you remain responsible for verifying figures and meeting your statutory obligations. The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties beyond those that cannot be excluded by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tenari is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability arising from the service in any 12-month period is limited to the subscription fees you paid to us in that period. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
You may stop using Tenari at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or where required by law. On termination you may request an export of your data within a reasonable window, after which it is deleted or anonymised subject to legal retention requirements.
We may update these Terms; the "Last updated" date shows the latest version and material changes will be notified in the app or by email. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya, and the courts of Kenya have jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections.
